Prefold, Fitted, and Contour diapers need a cover to be waterproof. They are very absorbent and breatheable diapers. Great for letting your baby "air-out" if he is battling diaper rash.
Prefold (PF) - A prefold is a rectangle that is thicker in the middle third than on the sides. It can be folded and fastened with pins or a snappi or simply laid into a waterproof cover. More Prefold Information.
Fitted Diaper – A fitted diaper fits closely to baby and uses velcro or snaps as a closure.
Contour – A contour diaper is curved to fit the shape of a baby. It is used like a prefold but is simpler to put on, no folding.
