BumGenius Bamboo Fitted Diapers are made of bamboo terry inside/out with soakers made of microfiber terry. This ultra-trim fitted diaper has hook & loop closures with cross-over tabs on both sides. We loved the fit of our pockets and worked very hard to achieve the same type of close, smooth fit in the fitted diaper. We didn't stop with the design and the fabrics though. This is a sized diaper and is available in XS, S, M and L.
Wondering why there is polyester in our bamboo?
We added it for durability. Bamboo is an extremely soft fiber and needs a good poly backing to make it durable enough to withstand the requirements of diapering. We have an exclusive source for our fabric who has been making bamboo products for a long time. We were strongly advised not to do 100% bamboo or even a bamboo/cotton combination because the instability of the fibers would cause the fabric to fall apart quickly.

Size Note for Small and Extra Small:
Small is slightly larger with a higher rise than the XS. It is intended for after your baby's umbilical cord has fallen off.
Extra Small is intended for a newborn and fits low, below the navel, to keep the umbilical area dry. This diaper is designed to fit during that itty-bitty newborn stage.
